Jamie Harris wants Haroldeans to kick on after breaking their duck in style.

The Merseysiders won for the first time this season thanks to Bobby Fishel’s four-goal salvo against Manchester Maccabi Blues.

Jordan Brooks also weighed in and player-boss Harris now hopes the five-star display acts as a springboard to mount a title challenge.

Harris said: After three poor results, it was important to get off the mark and win our first game of the season.

"Scoring the two early goals helped settle us and you could see we started to play with a lot more confidence.

"If we'd have been a bit more clinical we probably could have hit double figures.

"Fair play to Maccabi though who never gave in. They also only formed a couple of weeks ago so it will take time for their team to click."
