There were some barn-storming performances on the opening weekend of the season, but only 11 could make it into this week's Select XI.
1. JAKE DOFFMAN (NL Raiders A) - produced a number of inspired save to keep the champions in contention against
2. ELLIOTT GOLD (Woodford Wanderers) - "had by a country mile, his best ever performance in a Woodford shirt, didn’t deserve to be on the losing team"
3. RYAN COLE (Redbridge JC A) - "possibly his best performance in a Redbridge shirt, simply brilliant going forward and in defence"
4. JOSH AZIZ (Finchley City FC) - "exemplary performance from the man-of-the-match and skipper"
5. MARK KORN (L’Equipe) - "a debut to be so proud of. Korn is so composed on the ball it’s a joy to watch. He links the whole team together and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings"
6. ALEX GOODMAN (NL Raiders B) - "put in a super shift in central midfield to negate the talented Alex Koslover"
7. SAM SOLLOSI (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
8. JONTI AREMBAND (RCUK FC) - "What more can I say then four finely taken goals. Our man of the match, just couldn't be handled by Real Hendon"
9. ZACK LEWIS (Hendon Utd SC A) - "great start to the season – lovely hat trick and could have had more – a constant menace"
10. SAM CANTOR (Oakwood A) - impressed me last season and started the new one with a bang with a double against FC Team
11. RICHARD FOGELMAN (Faithfold B) - making up for lost time after missing two, Schnitzelman was made a dream debut for the Superhoops with three qualify strikes ... two outside the box and one rounded the keeper
