Here are the star performers from Matchday 18 of the MGBSFL.
1. RUSSELL CORIN (Hendon A) - another clean sheet, didn't put a glove wrong against Oakwood
2. DANNY BERG (Redbridge JC A) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
3. RICHARD GOLD (Redbridge JC B) - "faultless at right-back and when shifted to left-back, capped by fine run and beautifully weighted cross for the decisive fourth goal"
4. ADAM HAKIMI (Redbridge JC A) - produced one of the finest tackles Sam Rosenthal has seen to deny Raiders to help preserve a clean sheet and take his team top
5. GLEN TURNER (Hendon B) - "moved into the centre of the defence when Hendon went 3-1 down, and they instantly looked more solid. Did very well to restrict Adam Ellis for much of the remainder of the game, as he is undoubtedly one of the best players outside the Premier Division"
6. RYAN COLE (Redbridge JC A) - arguably his best game in a Redbridge shirt - bossed the midfield against NLR
7. AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - "very strong midfield performance full of energy strength and running"
8. GREG CORIN (Hendon A) - "in a tight match it required a typical piece of GC magic to break the deadlock and he ran the show in the second half"
9. SAUL COHEN (Hendon B) - "four goals, enough said. A real handful all game, Donetsk couldn't contain him on the ground or in the air"
10. DAN BANETH (Camden Park) - "linked up play beautifully all day, was the hub of all our slick passing moves and scored a beautiful hat-trick. Perfect performance"
11. ADAM ELLIS (Shacharit Donetsk) - ran things early on against Hendon B, scored a hat-trick and in the words of the Hendon boss, is "undoubtedly one of the best players outside the Premier Division"
MANAGER: Sam Rosenthal (Redbridge Jewish Care A)
