Goal number four in the match of the day between North London Raiders A and Manchester Maccabi 1st was always going to be crucial and it was NICK LEWIS that got it.
With the match beautifully poised, Lewis "picked up the ball just past the half-way line, shrugged off a couple of defenders and then from 25 yards out arrowed a strike off the post and into the net".
Lewis has made a big impact since joining the club and he will be a big player for Raiders between now and the end of the season.

BEST OF THE REST
- DAVID GROSSMAN (FC Team A) - cracked home a 35-yard screamer against Raiders
- ALEX ELF (NL Raiders C) - after a misplaced defensive free kick, he took one tough with his right and scored a delightful long range lob with his left that the keeper could only admire as it sailed over his head and nestled in the back of the net
- DANNY SHERMAN (Scrabble FC) - a superb volley from just inside the penalty box to make the game safe for Scrabble at 3-0
