Exclusive: London Lions manager Tony Gold has confirmed that Daran Bern will be joining the club.

Having claimed a highest-ever finish and points tally in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League, Lions manager Gold believes that livewire Bern, the current JC MSFL Player of the Year, will provide extra quality and prace to his forward line.

Bern was Maccabi League’s top player in 2010/11 after helping Redbridge Jewish Care win the double. He left Jewish football to play with friends in a non-Jewish league but hopes that by joining Lions, he will boost his chances of playing at next year’s Maccabiah.
