Beck misses cut at British Women's Open

Israeli star Laetitia Beck missed the cut at the Ricoh British Women’s Open after registering a score of five over par at Royal Lytham & St Annes in Lancashire.

Competing on the LPGA  circuit for the e fourth season, Beck, 26, became the first Israeli golfer to take part in a major golf championship.

She progressed via the qualifiers, finishing joint-fourth after a round of 68. 

“It’s always a great challenge and experience playing at the Open,” said Beck, who is currently 87th on the official money list with a total prize fund of £71, 983.
