All change at Maccabi London Lions

Andy Landesberg believes relegation from the MGBSFL Premier Division could be a blessing in disguise for Maccabi London Lions.

The MLL Blue team finished second from bottom but Chairman Landesberg believes a management overhaul will help turn their fortunes around.

"Relegation is not necessarily a bad thing,” said Landesberg. “It has given the management committee the opportunity to assess things and make the appropriate changes.”

David Pollack and Jonathan Meltzer will take charge of MLL’s A-team in Division One next season. “They will be focused on getting the Sunday section right,” said Landesberg.

Sam Marchant and Josh Nagli will take charge of MLL’s B-team, under the watchful eye of David Hyman.

Landesberg said: “We have four players from our under-18 team ready to join men’s football, which is really encouraging."
