While Dmitriy Salita considers his own fighting future after suffering the second defeat of his career last month, he says he is excited about his new promotional signing after inking a deal with World Amateur middleweight champion Ievgen Khytrov.

The 25-year-old Russian star was scheduled to make his professional debut on Salita’s ‘Star of David’ promotion at Manhattan’s Webster Hall during the week.

“We think Ievgen will become extremely popular in a very short time,” said Salita.
