JC GOAL OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

SAM MARTIN (NW London Bears) - GOAL 2 - quality team goal, passing in triangles and a quality ball from Rose and finish from Martin

LIRON MANNIE (North London Raiders) - scored "a worldie" against Brook Farm Rovers

BEN BELLMAN (Borussia Barnet) - think Bale at the San Siro from left-back - outrageous

JC SAVE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

JAMES HARPIN (NW London Bears) - penalty save from top scorer Jono Gaon making it six in a row

 ===============

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

JAMES HARPIN (NW London Bears) - "Sam Martin was angry at me for not nominating him for TOTW last week after three assists and a goal so I said to him to produce an even better performance this week. He delivered with three  goals and an assist"

JACOB EMANUEL (Hertswood Vale) - QUOTE 1 - "To be in the semi-final is an absolute dream for everyone involved in the club, and something that Viv, Danny, Jack and I, or any of the boys who have been with the club from minute one could never have imagined. We don't know who we'll play in the semis, and frankly it's not important. We're going to hold onto this moment for as long as possible"

JACOB EMANUEL (Hertswood Vale) - QUOTE 2 - "Well played to Fairlop in what was a quality match for the neutral. They congratulated every single one of the boys at the final whistle, and we wish them well for the rest of the season"

BRAD PAPIER (Borussia Barnet) - "I want to give a special mention to all my players because after the game as usual Sam and I discussed man of the match and we genuinely couldn’t choose. Everyone was 8/10 minimum and we ended up not giving it to anyone as it wasn’t fair on others"

JAKE SANDERS (FAIRLOP FC) - "We only have ourselves to blame. When you're 1-0 up with ten minutes to go you must see the game out, let alone a big cup quarter-final. But, credit to Hertswood, who stayed in the game and blew us away in the closing stages. Massive good luck to a great bunch and lads in the last four"

PETER MORRISON TROPHY QUARTER-FINAL

OAKWOOD 0 HMH 0 (HMH won 4-2 on penalties)

Holders HMH edged into the semi-finals of the Peter Morrison Trophy after beating Oakwood on penalties at the Ark Academy in Wembley.

In a repeat of last season, the teams were deadlocked at full-time, and it was Avi Goldberg's men who held their nerve to progress 4-2 in the penalty shoot-out.

HERTSWOOD VALE 3 FAIRLOP FC 1

A deadly double from top-scorer James Millet plus one from Daniel Reuben steered Hertswood Vale into the last four of the Jewish FA Cup for the first time after they recorded a memorable 3-1 win over Premier Division Fairlop.

Jubilant Vale joint-manager Jacob Emanuel told JC Sport: "Wow, wow, wow. What an achievement. I couldn't be prouder of every single one of the boys today - we had to be patient but we got our just desserts for a faultness team performance. I think the result speaks for itself on how far we've come as a team since we last met."

Fairlop's Jake Sanders told JC Sport: "We only have ourselves to blame. When you're 1-0 up with ten minutes to go you must see the game out, let alone a big cup quarter-final. But, credit to Hertswood, who stayed in the game and blew us away in the closing stages. Massive good luck to a great bunch and lads in the last four."

BORUSSIA BARNET 2 WHITEFIELD WANDERERS 0

Goals from Sam Lipton and Ben Bellman guided Borussia Barnet into the semis in their first season following a 2-0 win over Whitefield Wanderers in the lunchtime kick-off at the Hive.

PHOTOGALLERY

Borussia scored twice in the first 20 minutes, in a match where Nathan Rosenthal was the star performer, and never looked back. Whitefield finished with ten men after defender Reiss Miller was sent off after receiving two yellow cards.

Borussia boss Brad Papier told JC Sport: "It was a wonderful occasion with over 100 spectators down at the Hive. It was a controlling and overall dominant performance from the Londoners."

Whitefield manager Jonny Rose told JC Sport: "The best team won on the day. We didn’t quite have the quality where it counted. The boys worked really hard and our second-half performance was really good. We huffed and puffed but were just a bit too shot-shy.”

MLFC BLUE 2 HENDON UNITED SPORTS 2

Goals from Mikey Perkins and Benji Weinberger saw MLFC Blue hold leaders Hendon United in a top-quality contest at Rowley Lane.

Hendon's goals came via Dovi Fehler and Josh Bharier, who converted the rebound after a penalty from Mordi Weiler was saved.

Weinberger's strike in the dying seconds earned MLFC a point, much to the delight of joint-player-manager Max Kyte. He told JC Sport: "We felt we deserved more on the day, but most importantly we’ve shown that we can and should be fighting for the title this year and next year. Laurence Judah and I were really pleased with the attitude and effort, and can’t ever ask for more."

Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "It was a disappointing day at the office today. We were lucky to be in the lead and then a goal from MLFC at the death earned them a deserved draw. The injuries and lack of games are starting to take an affect but we will bounce back. Saying that, MLFC are the best team that we’ve played this season and it’s easy to see why they’ve taken points off the other teams."

BROOK FARM ROVERS 0 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS 5

Charlie Cohen (2), Liron Mannie, Ed Brafman and an own goal inspired Raiders to a five-star win to extend their lead at the summit to six points.

Delighted Raiders' joint-manager Gideon Gale told JC Sport: "It was a dominant performance from the first minute. Our goalkeepers haven't had one save to make in the last 180 minutes. It's nice to be back on track after the last result against Galaxy. We now have five games left and five wins are essential. We continue to take one game at a time and see where it takes us."

Rovers' joint-player-manager Dan Cohen believes the margin of victory flattered Raiders, and told JC Sport: "It was another really tough game today against the league leaders but the scoreline certainly doesn’t do our performance justice. We worked incredibly hard all game and restricted them to just a handful of chances, with only clinical finishing and a fortunate own goal proving our downfall. We really took the game to them in the second half after a tactical formation change, forcing them to go long and give the ball away, but we couldn’t quite turn any of our half chances into the goal we deserved. It was a much-improved performance from the defeat a few weeks back and we can take a lot of confidence from our work-rate, desire and attitude into next week’s game against Galaxy."

DC Prediction: Rovers 0 Raiders 1

JEWDINESE 3 MILL HILL DONS 1

Zac Brin (2) and Reiss Mogilner helped Jewdinese maintain their promotion hopes with a 3-1 win over in-form Mill Hill Dons.

Ben Rodol registered for the Dons to make it 1-1 before 'Nese stepped up a gear to take maximum points.

Relieved 'Nese boss Darren Lawrence said: "I'm mildly concerned that we are not quite performing where we need to be, given the run of three huge games we have now. However, I am convinced we are possess the quality that is necessary to perform how we need to."

Dons manager, Jamie Nagioff told JC Sport: "We're all coming away from the game really frustrated. It was a fairly even game but we certainly had the chances to get at least a point today."

CLUB de CHIGWELL 2 FAITHFOLD DOCMM GREEN 3

Faithfold DocMM Green won a five-goal thriller to seal their fifth league win of the season at the expense of Club de Chigwell, with Avi Markiewicz (2) and Moshe Fehler the scorers.

Stanley Offord bagged a brace for CdC.

Faithfold boss Ben Kfir told JC Sport: "We gave away a very cheap penalty in the first few minutes of the game but after that we totally dominated. We had the majority of possession and all of the chances in a game where the CdC goalkeeper made some fantastic saves. The pitch was terrible and made it very difficult to play the kind of football we wanted to play."

HAMPSTEAD DUCKS 1 NORTH WEST LONDON BEARS 4

SAM MARTIN was the hat-trick hero as the Bears continued their winning streak, completing a quickfire league double over the Ducks.

Nathan Anders was the other scorer for the Bears, for whom goalkeeper James Harpin saved a penalty from Ducks' top-scorer Jono Gaon as the Bears climbed up the table.

Bears' joint-player-manager James Harpin told JC Sport: “We went into this game with confidence after last week's victory. However we knew we didn’t have Zacki and would have to work harder and we did that extremely well."

SCRABBLE 0 FC TEAM 4

Connor Perl (2), Richard Salmon and Dave Cohen struck as FC Team took another step towards the title with a 4-0 win over Scrabble.

FC Team player-manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: "It was a comfortable day at the office. I was pleased with how we controlled the game and played some nice attacking football. There is still room for improvement, however it was another game for Connor Perl and Haiky, returning from injury, and having Ben Sollosi back also helped.”

DC Prediction: Scrabble 0 Team 5

TEMPLE FORTUNE 3 PARIS SAINT-JEWMAIN 1

Two goals from Danny Sherman plus one from Jacob Kalms propelled Temple Fortune into second place as they made it nine wins out of 13 by beating PSJ 3-1.

Josh Cohen fired a consolation for PSJ.

Fortune boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a good win and I'm really pleased with the three points against tough opposition. It was a very tight game - there was very little in it between the teams and PSJ will feel hard done by with the result. Experience and desire plus Danny Sherman won the game. It took a bit of time to get going but in spells we played some good football. We restricted PSJ to long shots and the woodwork saved us on a couple of occasion. It was only a penalty that got past a strong back five, with Ed Bloom in fine form."
