Comedienne Ruby Wax hosted 360 people at the Sheridan Suite for Manchester Magen David Adom’s annual dinner, helping to raise £250,000 for the Israeli emergency rescue service. Regional director Richard Simon said: “We went for an entertaining evening, which was a different concept. But it seemed to work, even in these difficult times.” The proceeds are to be used for an ambulance station in Hadera
