London diners rustle up £12K for Norwood's services

articlemain

ITV political correspondent Lucy Manning spoke about her close encounter with the new Downing Street cat, as she helped Norwood raise £12,000 at its annual ladies lunch. After telling the 100 guests about Larry – who gave her a nasty scratch live on camera – she also described what it was like to report on the general election from within the Labour Party. The event, hosted by the Haven Bistro in Whetstone, was organised by the charity’s Food and Thought committee.
