articlemain

BBC business editor Robert Peston was the guest speaker at World Jewish Relief’s annual Business Breakfast. In his address to the 235 guests, he gave his analysis of the current economic situation. He also told the audience that the pressures on the global economy meant “it becomes even more necessary for WJR to continue helping those less fortunate”. The event, held at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, raised £105,000 for WJR projects.
