Dame Gail thanked by Jewish Care

articlemain

Jewish Care paid tribute to the long-time contribution of honorary president Dame Gail Ronson with a lunch and fashion show for 120 guests at West End private members' club Annabel's.

Dame Gail has been involved in the charity for over 30 years, helping to raise millions of pounds. She said she was looking forward to working on the Princess Alexandra project, a Jewish Care development in Stanmore which will incorporate a residential home, independent living apartments and a day centre.

She also wanted to encourage the next generation of donors. The lunch raised over £20,000 for Edgware and Harrow Jewish Day Centre and Sidney Corob House, a home for over-50s with mental health needs.
