articlemain

A record 630 guests attended the London Hilton for the Anne Frank Trust’s lunch to mark Holocaust Memorial Day. In his address keynote speaker Education Secretary Michael Gove said that a nation should be judged on the way it treats its immigrants. The lunch, which raised £330,000 for the trust’s educational work, was hosted by Daphne Schild, whose late husband Rolf had fled Cologne as a child.
