Team GB juniors held an action meeting for Gilad Shalit organised by Marian Lebor, Alex Pinnick, the Maccabiah Junior GB team manager, and Ella Hefez of the Gilad Shalit Action Committee.

Noam Shalit, Gilad's father, spoke to around 200 Maccabi GB juniors and other Maccabi delegates - the first time he has addressed a delegation of this size from abroad.

Maccabiah delegates will also prepare birthday cards for Gilad, who will be 23 next month.
