IN PICTURES: The votes are in. Jews makes the funniest films of all time

The Writers Guild of America has released a list of the 101 funniest scripts ever written - and Jews have made a big contribution to these big-screen hits, with 19 out of the top 20 written by, directed by or starring Jews.

In at the top spot is Woody Allen's Annie Hall. Allen also had six other scripts in the top 101, inclduing Sleeper, Bananas, Take the Money and Run, Broadway Danny Rose, Love and Death, and Manhattan.

Film fans will be happy to see old favourites such as Some Like it Hot and The Producers made it into the Top 20, as well as some newly-minted classics, including Bridesmaids and There’s Something About Mary.
