A big salute

articlemain

Stand to attention. The fashionista army is indeed growing again this season. Military accents continue to make their mark on our wardrobes. We're not suggesting you go all out in head-to-toe camouflage but instead add a tough feel or a splat of khaki to your daily outfits. The military vibe adds versatility to this season's looks and is by far the easiest trend to include in your exsisting wardrobe.

Simply wrap a belt around a coat; look for double-breasted jackets and cardigans or easiest yet, wear lace-up boots with your skirts and dresses (just ensure they fall on the knee or above). Trousers lend well to this trend too with combat-style oversized pockets, epaulettes and large buttons aplenty, while the parka jacket continues to lead the pack of practical outerwear with a strong army feel.

To prevent looking like you've joined the IDF, mix it up with leather and denim and for the evenings stylise with red lips and some heels for added glamour. It's time to enlist now!
