New head for Independent Jewish Day School

Jodi Schajer has been appointed the new headteacher of the Independent Jewish Day School in Hendon.
A qualified teacher for 21 years, including two as head, governors said she was “a perfect fit” for the school and would "ensure that our outstanding school continues to be a place where our pupils and staff develop and thrive."
Acting headteacher Mandy Berkman, who will be leaving at half-term, had "contritubed greatly to many aspects of school life and she will be missed," governors said. Former head Rabbi Coby Ebrahimoff, who runs a school in Israel, will be taking the reins until Mrs Schajer starts in June.
