Manchester’s King David schools are celebrating an inspection hatrick after the nursery was upgraded to  outstanding this month — the same grade previously awarded to its primary and high schools.

Inspectors were effusive in their praise for its passionate and dedicated staff and well-behaved children.

Teachers’ approach to teaching and providing children with a stimulating environment was “clear for all to see”, Ofsted reported.

Opened in 1995, the nursery has 90 children up to the age of three.

King David staff were “highly attentive” to children’s wellbeing and considerate of their families’ religions and cultures.

Children showed “exceptional” social skills and were “exceptionally confident and highly motivated to learn”, rapidly gaining the skills needed for their next stages in learning.

Parents received regular feedback to support their children’s learning, while pupils developed “excellent relationships with staff and each other”.
