JFS has announced new acting headteachers little more than a month after its last interim head took over the reins.

Martin Tissot, the chief executive of the Cardinal Hume Academy Trust, a Catholic schools consortium, had been seconded to lead the Orthodox school at the start of the new academic year.

But JFS chairman Andrew Moss has now informed parents that Mr Tissot has returned full-time to the trust and deputy head Anna Joseph and newly recruited senior deputy head Paul Ramsey will today take on the roles of acting joint heads.

Mr Moss said that they had been "fortunate" to receive support from Mr Tissot, whose appointment "was always intended to be an interim measure whilst internal leadership resource was identified and developed".

Interviews for a permanent head will be conducted in the coming weeks.

The previous permanent head Rachel Fink left suddenly at the end of May, shortly before the release of a critical Ofsted report that downgraded the school to "inadequate".

Mr Tissot told the JC earlier this month that his appointment initially had been for a year.
