Pesach Gift drive helps the needy

articlemain

Gift's annual pre-Pesach food drive has brought in £10,000 worth of supplies, which will be distributed to struggling families.

On Sunday, collections were held outside Kosher Kingdom in Golders Green, the Brenner Community Centre in Stamford Hill and at the charity's Hendon and Manchester warehouses. More than 50 young volunteers helped to sort the vast quantities of donated items. Gift has also distributed over £30,000 in food vouchers for the Purim and Pesach period.

The final day is Sunday with drop-offs at the Gift warehouse (61–63 Watford Way, London NW4 3LP, from 9am to mid-day) and the Aish Building, Prestwich Hebrew Congregation (Bury New Road, M25 9WL, from 1pm – 4pm).
