FZY welcomes dawn of new age

articlemain

Members are getting younger at the Federation of Zionist Youth - and with good reason.

The movement is launching a new north London group at its Hendon premises on Sunday week, reflecting "increased demand for FZY activity in the London region for those aged between 12 and 14".

Director of youth activities Dena Addlestone attributes this to the reputation of the FZY summer programmes and the positive experiences of siblings already in the movement. It was also an opportunity to give people an early leadership opportunity.

"Our current membership is just over 6,000 and we look forward to expanding it with members who are able to be part of us for longer."
