Brighton rocks to a great movie ride

articlemain

More than 300 people filled a packed Ralli Hall Jewish Centre in Hove to watch The Great Movie Ride, a performance of songs from the history of cinema, performed by members of the local Jewish community.

The show, which included favourites from Westerns, animated films, classics and family movies, was a Top Hat Production with Simon Gray as musical director and keyboard player and Diane Lewis, Wendy Lovegrove and Sam Rowland on the production team.

Ralli Hall chairman Roger Abrahams congratulated the performers on a successful show and described it as a “true community event” with more than 40 cast members, crew members and helpers and the support of the Brighton Jewish Arts Society and the Sussex Jewish Representative Council.
