Sinai Synagogue Leeds Judaism through Cooking programme got off to a tempting start with Carey Glass demonstrating how to cook blintzes and director of education Gwynneth Lewis teaching about Shavuot. Participant Petra Mullen said: "It was fabulous to make something new with a lovely collection of people. Carey’s cooking and Gwynneth’s information complemented each other perfectly. Education in the most delicious way."
Ms Lewis added: "‘I’m absolutely delighted by the response to this first Judaism through Cooking session – not only did everyone have a great time, but the blintzes were described as the best in town."
Gabrielle Hurwitz said that as a non-member of the shul she was "made extremely welcome. I thoroughly enjoyed the session."
