Matt Lucas rates Kuzzi as the cat’s whiskers in JBD contest

Comedian picks 'cute' winner in charity's photo fundraiser

Celebrity judge Matt Lucas has chosen Kuzzi the cat as the winner of Jewish Blind & Disabled’s PETron photo competition, open to JBD supporters who enrol their furry or feathered friends in the PETron fundraising scheme.

Although more of a dog lover, the comedian said Kuzzi’s picture was the one which made him smile the most.

“Kuzzi is just really cute,” he said. “The supporters of Jewish Blind & Disabled have so many wonderful, warm, lovely and fuzzy pets. It’s been hard to pick a winner.”

People can sign their pets up to the JBD scheme for £60 a year. The pet receives a name tag, toy and food treats.
