Housing association jLiving marked the completion of a £2 million building project in Golders Green with a breakfast reception attended by Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis.

The development sees the addition of 11 state-of-the-art sheltered flats within jLiving’s Wolfson Court property.

“High quality sheltered housing in Golders Green is very much in demand,” noted Bradley Reback, jLiving’s chairman. “Now in our 51st year, jLiving continues to explore possibilities to develop further new homes and upgrade our existing 15 developments to best serve the community.”

Before affixing a mezuzah to the door of the new communal lounge, Rabbi Mirvis said: “This is chesed  of the highest level.  According to Maimonides, the best form of tzedakah is allowing people to look after themselves.”
