articlemain

A Leeds women’s committee formed 21 years ago has now raised almost £350,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The committee of Rosalind Bickler, Nicola Lewis, Lindsay Seaton, Marissa Lipman, Riva Ullmann, Michele Jackson and Sara Grantham held its latest contribution to the charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to help fund a colorectal cancer care support worker.

Charity worker Mrs Bickler established the group in 1996 after a close relative died from cancer. It now has a database exceeding 1,000.
