A Barnet charity providing practical, emotional and therapeutic support for adolescent Orthodox girls has received more than £77,000 from the City of London Corporation's charitable arm.
The money to Noa from the City Bridge Trust will fund a full-time key worker to 2021.
Founded in 2009, Noa has helped nearly 300 girls and young women to deal with issues such as self-esteem, body image, bullying and mental health.
Alison Gowman, chair of the City Bridge Trust committee, praised the charity for "empowering young people to build the confidence and skills they need to lead healthier, happier and more productive lives". 
Noa director Naomi Lerer said: “We are incredibly excited to have been awarded this grant from the City Bridge Trust. 
“It takes us a step closer to realising our ambition that no girl should struggle alone.”
