The brains of Essex and its surrounds tested their knowledge when more than 50 people signed up for Harlow Jewish Community’s popular quiz night.

Challenging questions were set by Ian Jackson, who was assisted throughout by his wife, Kuzna. Everyone enjoyed fish and chips in the interval and the quiz was won by a team of Alan, Jane and Lucy Cohen, Lorraine Kirk, and friends Sue and Jonathan, Marion, Train Sue and Maureen.

The evening, along with a raffle and heads and tails game, raised £500 for synagogue funds.
