Money mensch: Rent dvds for free - for three months

Martin Lewis' Money mensch

articlemain

Tesco’s online DVD service is offering any of its packages completely free for three months. The offer is open to new customers who sign up using a special code before 31 May.

There are six packages to chose from, ranging between a maximum of two DVDs’ rental each month to unlimited requests. Once you have decided which to go for, simply sign up online at tescodvdrental.com, putting the code “TDRXMSRAF8” into the promotional box.

To set it up you will have to give your card details. If you do not send all the DVDs back before the three-month deadline, you will start to be charged. So I advise you diarise at least a week before the end date, and then decide if you want to continue or not. It is also important to note that if you have signed up for a Lovefilm group special offer trial before — which includes DVD rentals from Tesco, Lovefilm, CD-WOW! and Odeon Direct — you will not be eligible for this promotion.

If you are looking for longer term rental deals, there is a full review at www.moneysavingexpert.com/dvds
