Kim Kardashian has found herself at the centre of controversy after shutting down a pro-Palestinian activist at an event in Germany.

During a panel discussion at a marketing event in Germany where the 43-year-old influencer was discussing her business, Kardashian was interrupted by an audience member who screamed "Free Palestine” at her.

As the disruptive woman was escorted out of the event space, Kardashian reiterated her stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict, saying saying “Free everybody”.

The moderator quickly acknowledged the incident by mentioning “free speech”, and then  continued the conversation while the woman was guided out.

Footage of Kardashian’s spontaneous response quickly circulated online, drawing both support and criticism.

Anti-Israel campaigners expressed disappointment, likening her statement to the “All Lives Matter” refrain that was decried during the height of the BLM movement in 2020.

Kardashian has previously been vocal about combating antisemitism after her ex-husband Kanye West made a series of antisemitic remarks, including posting offensive tweets about Jews and sampling music that perpetuated falsehoods.

In response to one such incident, Kim tweeted, “Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.”

West was dropped from major partnerships with Adidas and Balenciaga as well as by his agency CAA and a film and TV stuido, MRC.
