Israelis shout "Hitler was right" at demonstrators who are protesting against the eviction of Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah.

    If you watch the video, only 2 people were involved. From this someone is making a federal case?
    and what proof do you have that these 2 people were settlers?

    Are all Israeli leftists traitors because every traitor caught so far has been from the left? Should kibbutz Gan Shmuel be destroyed because it has produced the largest number of traitors from the left?

    The old guy is clearly agitated, and extremely angry, and was speaking when incensed, emotionally fraught; besides, as Avraham says, just two people and a federal case is made ot it.

    The people are not literally saying, "Hitler was right," but rather metaphorically accusing the protesters of being the kinds of Jews who would prefer to die in the gas chambers than fight for their lives. The point is metaphorical.

    That said, such rhetoric is incendiary, extreme, and unproductive. It also seems to drive a wedge between Ashkenazim and Sephardim/Mizrahim. They should not have said it. However, it has a very different meaning than, say, when Arabs shout similar things at Jews.

    There will always be anti social elements around who wants to create problems in the society and I don’t think have to pay much attention to these sort of
    “slogan callings” as if you notice, there isn’t anyone remotely interested in what is going around them – they are going about their business and totally unconcerned about what the two people are saying!! I am sure some remodelings must have provoked him and let us hope there aren’t many like him walking around on our streets!!
