Been a long time!

By The GenPals Cem..., May 21, 2009

Well I know this sounds silly but I forgot my login and then I forgot to log in.

But back on track now, I hope.

Over the last few months Genpals has been busy adding more inscriptions and photos to www.genpals.com

We have visited 2 cemeteries and have been given numerous photos by visitors to our site for which we are sincerely grateful - thank you!

So if you are interested in tracing your genealogy and finding where your ancestors were buried you may find them by visiting the site.

Let me know how you get on.

Ms Clapham approached us after discovering the cemetery, we have exchanged several emails and applaud her concerns and willingness to do something about it.

They say: The Lo Tishkach Foundation European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative aims to guarantee the effective and lasting preservation and protection of Jewish cemeteries and mass graves throughout the European continent.

By The GenPals Cem..., September 23, 2008

We started by creating a website, thanks to my husband's help in pulling our ideas together, it turned out pretty well. The next stage was to add inscriptions, this began with those from Brady Street Cemetery.

We soon realised that our passion for genealogy wouldn't allow us to just enter the inscription, we just 'had' to find out more ...
