Adi Ashkenazi was born in Tel Aviv (1969). Even since his youth Adi has been obsessively photographing.
After military service he travelled the world, exploring places and cultures. He also opened a Laser Show Production Company in Israel creating a unique form of art.
In the last 10 years he has exhibited extensively in Israel, New York, Mexico. His exhibition at the Spiro Ark is his first exhibition in Europe.
How to bond parents and Jewish children in a creative way and teach the whole family a new language which will stay with them for a lifetime and open up gates to a stronger identity?
There is no need to elaborate upon the dreadful results of children learning Hebrew in this country – a well known fact about which everyone complains but generally speaking the problem is still not solved. Have you asked yourselves why?
What signifies the Spiro Ark’s work is the plethora of subjects and approaches we present.
We are not representing any particular political or religious particular affinity.
Amongst our followers, students and supporters you can find people who represent the entire spectrum – from the ultra orthodox to the heretic and to the non Jew – anyone who is searching for knowledge, for wanting to be exposed to intellectual and artistic challenges.
