Nightingale Hammerson is a large provider of care for older members of the Jewish Community
Nightingale House is a 200 bedded home in South West London and Hammerson House a 68 bedded home in North West London.
Nightingale House offers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care on our large South London site. We offers "care for life" and an exciting and diverse activities programme together with a wide range of services and facilities including an in house medical service, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy and more.
Hammerson House is located in the heart of the Jewish community in North West London and was established some 50 years ago with an ethos to provide care to frailest in the community regardless of their financial means. This ethos continues to guide the home today.
Both homes have ambitious and extensive rebuilding and refurbishment programmes. The Charity receives no support from either central or local government in respect of any such capital projects. We are therefore largely dependent on the generosity of its friends in the community to fund such programmes and also to help bridge the gap between monies received from local authorities and the true cost of running the homes. The Charity is facing the ongoing challenge of caring for a client group who are increasingly frail and with very high care needs.
Both Nightingale House and Hammerson House welcome residents from across the Jewish community and throughout the UK.
