The Jewish Socialists' Group is a political organisation campaigning for Jewish rights and the rights of all oppressed minorities in building a socialist future. We are socialists, diasporists and secularists We are an open and democratic organisation that forms its policies and elects officers at an annual policy conference. Wherever possible we work with other groups sharing some or all of our aims. We hold regular meetings with outside speakers and organise cultural events. We are active in several broader campaigns for human rights and social justice. Our group was formed in the 1970s but we are part of tradition of Jewish radicalism that goes back more than 100 years to the Bund in the Tsarist Russian Empire and the Jewish anarchists, socialists and communists active in the countries of mass immigration. We produce a quarterly magazine called Jewish Socialist which has subscribers throughout Britain and in several other countries and have a website: www.jewishsocialist.org.uk
