Today, Wednesday, May 12 marks the 43rd anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem. It was in May of 1967 that Jews and Christians were finally able to return to the Holy City, after 19 years of exile. It was also the return of Jerusalem as the sovereign capital of the Jewish people after nearly 2,000 years.

Failed Election of Euro Passive Political Correctness

DEFRA advisory on West Bank product labelling is like Hitler's labelling of Jews with a Yellow Star

By changing labelling requirements on goods emanating from the West Bank, the UK Government has succumbed to Islamo/fascist pressure which contravenes the European Convention on Human Rights.

It is a discriminatory, xenophobic, anti-semitic and divisive policy that will do nothing to heal divisions. What is the difference between Hitler's labelling of Jews with a Jude gold star or the labelling of Jewish-made food. The Government should be forced to withdraw this advisory straight away, so that crazy extremists do not decide to burn down more mosques.

Do not ignore the seriousness of the Iran crisis

News today that Iran says it needs up to 15 nuclear plants to generate electricity, its foreign minister said today, underlining Tehran's determination to press ahead with it's programme regardless of what the "West" has to say.
We have to hope that Russia and China see sense and support the major western countries in imposing realistic and meaningful sanctions.
The alternative solution is on the table and becomes more of a reality as each day goes by.

What is Israel going to do about Iran?

How close are we to the day that we will wake up one morning and find that Israel has destroyed the Iranian nuclear programme?

An Iranian cleric said on Friday that the West will not succeed in stopping the country from developing its nuclear program.

"The Iranian nation will never give up its nuclear right at any price," said Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi during the Friday prayers in Tehran.
"They cannot prevent us from using nuclear energy for peaceful aims by lies and propaganda."

Will any possible sanction regime make a difference or will it be left up to Israel?

Can Iran be Trusted
