"Israel is a very racist society"

No it's not some anti-Zionist who is making that claim, it's Israel's Absorption Minister Sofa Landver (ironically, from the far right racist Yisrael Beiteinu Party) in an interview with the Jerusalem Post -- not a newspaper that even the far right wing of the ZF (that is, its leadership) can claim is "Israel bashing".

Panorama will no doubt be slammed by the usual suspects for being "anti-Israel", but it spoke to Jerusalem mayor Nir Barkat and someone from the extremist settler group Elad -- which is funded to the tune of $40 million a year by Irving Moscowitz, the US casino tycoon, and others -- who made it clear that Israel discriminates against Palestinians in the allegedly united capital.

That Sarah Netanyahu, eh?

Last time hubby was PM, she fired a nanny because she allegedly burned the family soup. Now it appears that Sarah'le has been getting uppity with the new housekeeper.
According to Yediot Achronot, a 44-year-old woman who worked as housekeeper for the Netanyahu family for six years recently filed a lawsuit against Sarah.
"Sarah Netanyahu abused me, paid me a salary lower than minimum wage, failed to pay my social benefits, forced me to work during Shabbat - even though I observe Shabbat - and made me call her 'Mrs. Sarah Netanyahu'," the former employee was quoted as writing in the lawsuit.

New Israeli threats

Not satisfied with humiliating Turkey's Ambassador to Israel last week, deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon is now warning that any country that makes nasty comments about Israel will have its ambassador expelled.
Oh dear... Other punishments include:
If Obama calls for Israel to actually do something for peace, Israel will cut off all military and financial aid to the US.
The Scandinavian countries will have their ambassadors to Tel Aviv dragged through the streets of the city while Yisrael Beiteinu members will write something horrible on their embassies d residences.

Sack Michael Gross

A news report in the Observer today (13.12.09) revealed that Michael Gross urged Ben-Gurion University to sack the British-born academic David Newman. He also wished that Newman would perish. That's the kind of line taken by the more rabid of the anti-Israel mob. Will the ZF and Board condemn this diaspora hero, Gross?

You can call me a cynic if you like, but looking at the activities of those who demonstrate against every perceived cough and fart against Israel would really hate it if they had nothing to protest about.
I can see the JC headline now: "Board/ZF despair as no one criticises Israel"
So a bunch of luvvy twats and their cronies holds a couple of "carol" singings. Big deal. The twats would have received the lack of publicity they deserved had people ignored them.
