The Holocaust Centre houses a permanent exhibition surrounded by landscaped memorial gardens. On a daily basis, schoolchildren visit the Centre and listen to survivors sharing their personal experiences. The Centre also provides for visits from synagogues and community groups. Currently closed to the public for building work, it will re-open on 10 September with a new exhibition occupying its entire first floor. ‘The Journey' will be the first permanent Holocaust exhibition in the country designed for primary school children.
