The sea

By Skovronek2, February 27, 2012

Yesterday we had the pleasure to be visited by our grand daughter and two of the friends she had made helping to alleviate the impact of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank. We were particularly pleased to take Itina to see the sea.

Western Union making life difficult again

By Skovronek2, October 5, 2011

This morning I tried to wire some money to someone in Hebron.

I said I would like to wire some money to Judea and Samaria. The girl in the travel agent looked at me blank.

She said we don't have that country down here. I said how about The Disputed Territories ?

She said, no we don't have that either.

I said how about The Occupied Palestinian Territories ?

By Skovronek2, September 23, 2011

Whatever you may hear this is how it really was re the guy the IOF murdered today.

The settlers came to burn their olive trees. The villagers came to stop them. The IOF turned up and fired on the villagers. They shot the guy twice from a range of two metres.

re so thats why

By Skovronek2, September 4, 2011

I doubt that is why. The most probable reason why is that it is the simple truth.

If the fence was simply about security and not a land grab it would have been built on Israeli land or right on the border.

re who will win

By Skovronek2, April 15, 2011

The IOF most recently said the fence would by relocated by March. It is now mid April. Now they say it will take another three months. Even if we accept this bullchit we are now four years after the Israeli Supreme Court told them to do it.

And the Israelis have the brass nerve to tell us that they " share our values ".

Sorry. No can do.

who will win ?

By Skovronek2, April 15, 2011

The citizens of Bil'in , their international supporters, the Israeli Supreme Court on one side , the IOF on the other. Who will will win ? Is Israeli really a democracy or more realistically ruled by a military junta ?

Who will win ?

moderation policy

By Skovronek2, April 12, 2011

I was disappointed that the JC has deemed any discussion of the Jordan Valley inadmissable. I was looking forward to a lively discussion on the issue. What is it that the JC judges to be so embarrassing here ? I suppose I am going to get banned for this but I am just chaff in the wind. I am too old to care
