The times they are a changing

By Advis3r, July 25, 2011

A group calling itself the Islamic Emirates Project is seeking to turn 12 British cities, including one called Londonistan (presumably with a hat tip to Melanie Phillips, who wrote a book by the same name), into independent Islamic Emirates.

More words of wisdom

By Advis3r, July 25, 2011

"And have you noticed that when it's a right winger who goes on a killing spree, then he or she is a "deranged individual" (McVeigh, Baruch Goldstein, Ami Popper, etc), yet when there is a terror attack, then it's Islam in general that's at fault."

"Just imagine the gevalt if ... Orthodox women forbidden to wear sheitels."
You obviously do not know the difference between a burkha and a wig - no surprise there.
This is what the Church of England has had to say on the matter of preferential treatment for Muslims.

Note to Mathew Harris

I note you post a link to being civil I assume that was addressed to Ms Frazer who made some outrageous and unsubstantiated claims against the London Beth Din to wit that the Beth Din is not trusted hence the need for a Get Certificate. This shows a complete lack of respect.

Nice of the Webmaster to close down the Beth Din thread to prevent any response.
By the way I live in Judea - "West Bank" was the temporary name(just 19 years during the illegal occupation by Jordan) given to an area which enjoyed the name Judea for 3000 years - why do you deny your Jewish heritage and the cradle of Judaism?

I was in the process of posting a response to your reply to me when the Webmaster closed down the thread presumably because of the abject level to which the discussion had fallen.
First I am not sure why it should concern you what name or picture I use. I blog under an alias simply because from experience some bloggers deem it appropriate to abuse anyone who does not agree with their view.

Pay attention Armbach

By Advis3r, July 23, 2011

From the Daily Telegraph

Despite only being 64 years old, and constantly in a state of political turmoil, Israel is fast becoming known in technology circles, as the world’s second Silicon Valley and as a ‘start up nation’ – now also the title of a successful book by Dan Senor and Saul Singer, charting the country’s successful and often unknown tech story.

The truth they do not want you to know

Here's a story about a 'Palestinian' who was murdered because he was accused of selling a house to Jews.

Yes, selling land to Jews here is punishable by death. What are the odds of your hearing that from the Western mainstream media?
Hey Armbach and Mary in Brighton how many lies have you told today?

A note to Suzanna

By Advis3r, July 22, 2011

Regarding your claim that Israel receives the most aid in the World in absolute terms, Sudan receives the most aid and “Palestine” the second most (the gap is narrowing in recent years.) But on a per-capita basis, the Palestinian Arabs receive about 9 times as much aid as the Sudanese do, and of course far more aid per capita than any other people on the planet.

Clarification

By Advis3r, July 21, 2011

Sometimes I have to wonder from where "Joe Millis" gets his information or should I say dis-information. Early he was incoherently mumblimg (presumably overdoing it at the King David Lounge at Heathrow)something about Arabs being ordered off a beach by inspectors - no corroboration and likely as not it was something he read in Socialist Worker or some such rag.

In the real world

Great news.... Iran is going to be using faster centrifuges to speed up its uranium enrichment.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast appeared to confirm a Reuters story last week that Iran was installing two newer and more advanced models of the centrifuges used to refine uranium for large-scale testing at a research site.

By Advis3r, July 19, 2011

From Tim Marshall in Sky News:
An African UN worker in the West Bank recently remarked to a mutual friend 'When people see me coming they see a walking ATM machine'.

Driving through Ramallah, and then Jericho, the other day I was reminded of that quip as I looked at the smart restaurants, sparkling new hotels, and the scale of building work.

There is an alternative argument, one that hasn't received as much attention as it undoubtedly ought, and which has been well-articulated in the Jerusalem Post by Eugene Kontorovich, who teaches constitutional law at Northwestern University in the United States.

Here's part of what he writes:

The racist blogger tries to salve his conscience by quoting a ridiculous proposition attributed to the good Professor but I am unable to find anywhere where he says "…a nice way to draw the distinction between boycotts of Israel and boycotts of the settlements is that the former attacks the Israeli constitution (the general structure of the state) while the latter just attacks an Israeli policy
