Just What Does It Take?

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 20, 2011

Just what does it take to galvanise our head-in-the-sand leadership into action?

Today I asked the following question of Mr Vivian Wineman who heads the Board of Deputies and the Jewish Leadership Council:

Ron Prosor recently wrote: 'Never has a British broadsheet so openly served the agenda of Middle Eastern extremism. The Guardian must be commended for its transparency -- readers can no longer doubt its affinity for Hamas.' Will you now call on the community to shun the Guardian, including withdrawing advertising?

University Hate Speech Report: A Whitewash

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 19, 2011

After it was revealed that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab - who tried to blow up a plane on Christmas Day 2009 - had been President of Islamic Society at UCL, Universities UK - under pressure from the government - set up an Inquiry into Extremism on Campus. It was clear from the start that it was going to be a whitewash:

Davis et al - continued

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 18, 2011

The following letter is in today's JC:

Tzipi Livni’s endorsement of the call to Mick Davis to join the conversation is a little ironic, considering at the last elections her Kadima party refused to form a government with the other two leading elected parties.

Guardian owns up to falsifying Livni Quote - but how about all the other wilful deceptions?

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 15, 2011

The Guardian wilfully misleads its readers about Israel, vilifying and falsifying at every step of the way.

I call on members of the Jewish Community and all right thinking people and advertisers to stop buying the Guardian and placing advertising with it. I have tabled a question to the President for Sunday's Board of Deputies meeting, asking him to endorse this boycott.

This is but the latest in a stream of outrages from the Guardian including in its "Comment Is Free' online blog:

What the West Needs to Understand About the Muslim Brotherhood

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 6, 2011

The question that Western observer need to be asking is: what are their goals?

They are very explicit in answering that question. Their main goal is to restore the caliphate, creating a single state run according to Islamic precepts that would stretch from Spain to Indonesia.

The Lies of the Israel Haters - continued

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 5, 2011

At the Ahava demo today the arch renegade Jew, Bruce Levy ("they should dig Gilad Shalit up and bury him again"), said to a policeman, indicating towards me "That's Jonathan Hoffman, he's co-vice chair of the ZF and he is paid secretly by the Israel government"

The truth of course is that anything I do relating to Israel is done entirely voluntarily, I have never received a penny for it.

Lies, smears, suppression of the truth, locking out of meetings - that's the way the Israel haters and the far Left operate. They are immoral cowards.

Bibi's Knesset speech yesterday, on Egypt (excerpts)

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 3, 2011

Yesterday was a dramatic day in our region. Millions of people poured into the streets of Egypt. President Mubarak, who has ruled Egypt for 30 years, announced that he will not run in the next Presidential elections, and will work to introduce governmental reforms in Egypt.

In Washington, London, Paris, and throughout the democratic world, leaders, analysts and researchers spoke about the opportunities that change in Egypt could bring. They spoke about the promise of a new day.

"The Promise" - Begins Sunday, UK Channel 4

By Jonathan Hoffman, February 3, 2011

This mini-series begins on Sunday on Channel 4. Writer/director Peter Kosminsky wrote about the programme in The Guardian:

“Israel is isolated, loathed and feared in equal measure by its neighbours, finding little sympathy outside America for its uncompromising view of how to defend its borders and secure its future.....How did Israel squander the compassion [derived from the horrors of the Holocaust] of the world within a lifetime?”

Shame on Amnesty International for its Biased Israel-Bashing Agenda

By Jonathan Hoffman, January 31, 2011

Amnesty International has put out a Press Notice "urging the Israeli authorities to end their harassment of Palestinian human rights activists" "after a veteran Palestinian campaigner was jailed for nine years earlier today and given an additional one-year suspended sentence. Ameer Makhoul, a longstanding Palestinian activist, was convicted on various counts of having contact with enemies of Israel and espionage after a plea bargain agreement at his trial.

Locked out of Israel Hate Meeting with Hajo, the "Dancing Bear", at Rutgers University

By Jonathan Hoffman, January 30, 2011

Remember how the As-A-Jews tried to hijack Holocaust Memorial Day in London last year?

Well this year they tried to pull the same revolting stunt in the USA. Rutgers is the State University of New Jersey. Look what happened when Jewish students were locked out of the Hajo Meyer meeting last night:

Holocaust Memorial Day: Bibi's speech to the Knesset

By Jonathan Hoffman, January 28, 2011

Have the lessons of the Holocaust been learned?

For us, the Jewish people, the answer is yes.
For the rest of the world, the answer is no, or at least not yet.

Today, 66 years after the horror, we are here, in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of our nation. We, the representatives of the Jewish nation, are holding a special ceremony to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

The lesson that we have learned, first of all, is that we are here, in our sovereign country, in our capital city.

The Duplicity of The Guardian and Al Jazeera

If you want just one example of the duplicity of the Israel haters, just look at this ...
