His goals and creativity have catapulted FC Team B to the top of Division Two, with an unblemished record.

His boss, Mitch Young, who wins my top managerial prize, made him captain for the day in the 6-3 win over Catford & Bromley, and told me after that he “dictated the play for 90 minutes”.

ADAM STOLERMAN was FC Team C's hat-trick hero in a thriller that was settled in extra-time against third division Boca.

Boca left the pitch feeling "a little hard done," according to boss Gabriel John - having battled back from one down, then 2-1 down they truly believed they'd take something from the game.

OAKWOOD B 0 MACCABI LONDON LIONS VETS 2

Strikes from Craig Pearl and Max Radford steered Lions Seniors through on a day when they had too much for second division Oakwood.

Pearl opened the scoring by finishing off a superb team goal before Radford doubled the lead with a crisp strike from the edge of the box.

Simon Linden admits his team got off the hook after edging past second division Jewdinese in extra-time.

Strikes from Mitch Green, Dean Shaw, Oli Henry and two from Ben Ellis saw the Division One high-flyers home.

Victorious boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a top effort from Jewdinese - they really didn't stop for the full 120. Good luck to them for the season.

Radus making giant strides

Lia Radus produced a storming anchor leg to put Shaftesbury Barnet amongst the medals at the under-13 Southern three-stage road relays in Aldershot.

Starting her leg in 11th place, Radus moved through the field to secure bronze for the team. Her split time of 8:15 for 2.291km was fourth fastest amongst more than 230 runners.

Stevens called up for Middlesex

Rising star Josh Stevens has been rewarded for an excellent season with a call-up for the Middlesex CC under-13 Winter Performance squad.

Stevens, who is 12 and lives in Bushey, was selected following a series of eye-catching displays for Stanmore and London Maccabi Vale.

The fast bowler will link up with the squad at the Middlesex Indoor School in Finchley in November.
