Mitch Young believes the result is all that matters as FC Team B look to complete a league and cup double when they take on Los Blancos in the Barry Goldstein Trophy final.

Team warmed up for Sunday’s visit to Wingate & Finchley with a 4-1 victory over Oakwood B, bringing down the curtain on their successful league campaign.

David Garbacz insists Hendon United will use their recent league defeat as motivation to beat Norstar London Raiders in this weekend’s Cyril Anekstein Cup final.

Last season’s treble winners saw their hopes of another clean sweep ended when Raiders, who lifted the MGBSFL Premier Division title on Sunday, beat them last month.

Bournemouth achievement is incredible, says Mostyn

Jeff Mostyn says Bournemouth have completed mission impossible after reaching the Premier League.

A 3-0 victory over Bolton confirmed that Bournemouth will be playing in the top-flight next season.

Mostyn famously saved the club from liquidation eight years ago when he put £100,000 into the club who were five minutes away from going out of business.

Lions to name new stand in memory of Alan Mattey

Maccabi London Lions have announced that their new 200-seater stand will be called ‘The Alan Mattey Stand’ in honour of our late former player, and friend to so many at Rowley Lane.

Contractors are due to be appointed imminently and construction, alongside the main pitch, will get under way as soon as the season finishes in early May.
