A stunning four-goal salvo from DANIEL SIMONS means Blizzard Storm have all but mathematically retained their Division Two status following an emphatic 4-0 victory over Raiders B.

Jubilant Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a fantastic win today. I'm thrilled that we have avoided the drop.

NIne-man Woodford failed to hold on to a 2-0 advantage as they were pegged back by the plucky Hornets at Fairlop.

The Wanderers lost two players to injury, and they had to soldier on with nine men, allowing Hendon to hit back late on through Alon Blitz and Avi Markovitz to earn a point.

Southgate Harmen

Camden Park's title hopes were dealt a blow as they were held 2-2 by Southgate Harmen.

Guy Marks and Jake Saunders registered for Camden who had player-manager Josh Marks sent off soon after joining the action in the second half.

Lee Greenfield and Alex Bull were the marksmen for Harmen.

Loughton Orient completed the league double over Hendon after hitting the Hustlers for six.

Two apiece from Barry Green, making it 11 for the season, James Lester plus one apiece from Adam Conway and Jaimie Sinclair did the trick.

DAVID JOSEPH COHEN was the hat-trick hero as Division Three runners-up FC Team C hit the jackpot against basement battlers Boca.

There were also goals for James Cooper, Avi Nejad, Jamie Breslaw, Adam Aminoff and an own goal as the boys in yellow and blue went goal crazy.

FC Team B

Los Blancos returned to winning ways as goals from top-scorer Adam Hersh, Josh Caplin, Joel Kutner and Jay Lopian saw them finish the weekend in second place.

Blancos leapfrogged SPEC FC after securing a crucial three points to keep their promotion charge in their own hands. However, they did it the hard way, throwing away what seemed like a comfortable two-goal lead.

Catford & Bromley were left looking nervously over their shoulders as they suffered a double whammy - losing to basement battlers Norstar and then hearing Blizzard Storm had won.

Catford had the better of the opening exchanges, but Norstar went in at half time 0-0, and made a couple of changes in a bid to secure the win in the second 45 minutes.

Jamie Crawford scored the only goal as Glenthorne B ended Bilbaum's automatic promotion hopes in a hard fought contest.

The decisive moment saw Crawford complete a lovely Glenthorne move, and after seeing the keeper off his line he curled the ball over his head.

Glenthorne United B moved joint-top after notching up seven goals without reply in a double-header against struggling Faithfold B.

And the east Londoners turned on the style in part two, with Fabio Rivieccio, Daniel Lassman, Josh Wynne and James Law doing the damage.

The wins saw them join Shirley Park at the top on 43 points.

Two goals from midfield maestro Sam Reeves took newly-crowned champions Faithfold past the 40 point mark as they outclassed Redbridge at Fairlop.

Captain marvel Alex Levack and Dan Perkins helped the Superhoops complete a league double over RJC.

Brady won the clash of the cup kings, with MARC LAZARE firing a stunning four-goal salvo in a 12-goal thriller at the Lane.

Further strikes from Rob Lerner, Alex Hershman and an own goal helped Brady beat the Lions for the second time this season.

Lions's goals came through Tony Gold, Benji Weinberger (2), James Gershfield and Danny Daggers.
