Maccabi TA eliminated from Europa League

Maccabi Tel Aviv limped out of the Europa League after succumbing to Basle for the second time this season.

Having been beaten by the Swiss outfit in the Champions League qualifying stages earlier in the campaign, Maccabi were unable to build on a solid performance from the first leg, which finished goalless, as the hosts ran in three goals without reply in the round of 32 second leg.

Maccabi Masters review: February 23

North London Raiders were crowned champions of the Maccabi Masters League for the first time following their 4-1 win over Brady Maccabi A.

Kevin Lotzoff headed NLR in front from a corner, but Brady responded well and soon after equalised through Scott Ansher. Second-half strikes from Tony Plaskow, Jon Isaacs and Darren Cohen clinched the title for NLR.
