It's been quite some week for RICKY ENGLEMAN of North London Raiders A.

Not only was the mercurial midfielder my Player of the Week on Matchday 18, he also produced the SAVE of the week, producing an outstanding goal-line clearance as he somehow managed to block a well struck volley from the Manchester striker with Doffman beaten.

Goal number four in the match of the day between North London Raiders A and Manchester Maccabi 1st was always going to be crucial and it was NICK LEWIS that got it.

With the match beautifully poised, Lewis "picked up the ball just past the half-way line, shrugged off a couple of defenders and then from 25 yards out arrowed a strike off the post and into the net".

Rubin surprises 19th seed at Australian Open

Noah Rubin recorded his first grand slam win after stunning 17th-seeded Benoit Paire with a straight sets victory on the opening day of the Australian Open in Melbourne.

A former winner of Junior Wimbledon, Rubin, who is 19 and from Long Island, won three tie-breakers to set up a second-round clash against Pierre-Hugues Herbert of France.

Maccabi Masters review: January 17

Mark Wagman, Scott Warren and Scott Ansher helped Brady Maccabi A overcome the snowy conditions and HMH to record a 3-1 win in Division One of the Maccabi Masters League.

Ansher popped up with a goal for the second week in a row, in a game where Neil Kochane replied for HMH.
