Man arrested after ‘antisemitic abuse’ shouted at Jewish teenagers

Police have arrested a 23-year-old man after he allegedly shouted antisemitic abuse at two strictly Orthodox teenagers.

The man, who has not been named, was detained after he approached the boys in Stamford Hill, north London, on Sunday night.

He allegedly shouted: “F***ing Jews – kill the Jews.”

Israel and Turkey ‘close’ to reconciliation deal

Police re-open inquiry into anti-Israel posters on the tube

British Transport Police have re-opened an investigation into anti-Israel posters which were put up across the London underground.

The inquiry into more than 200 posters, which were placed on tube trains during Israel Apartheid Week in February, was closed last Thursday after police said they had pursued all lines of inquiry.

Labour’s Shadow Chancellor has been accused of promoting a website that pays “tributes to suicide bombers”.

A report in the Evening Standard claimed that John McDonnell used his own MP website to link to a webpage which paid tribute to terrorists in 2014.

It comes amid a rise of allegations of antisemitism within Labour party ranks.

Plane ditches in the sea off Tel Aviv

A plane has been forced to make an emergency landing off the coast of Tel Aviv.

The small aircraft ditched in the Mediterranean near the city’s Metzitzim beach after the pilot reportedly lost control of the flight on Sunday morning.

There were no serious injuries or casualties reported.
