A few days after Yom HaAztma’ut, SCoJeC hosted a Scotland-wide event for Israelis living in Scotland, when more than 40 people, including children and partners, came together to celebrate their culture and mark Israel’s 65th Independence Day. http://www.scojec.org/news/2013/13iv_ya/ya.html
The document from the Church and Society Council on "The Inheritance of Abraham" is an outrage to everything that interfaith dialogue stands for. It reads like an Inquisition-era polemic against Jews and Judaism. It is biased, weak on sources, and contradictory. The picture it paints of both Judaism and Israel is barely even a caricature.

"The performers drove the dances in a perfect blend of rhythm and swaying melody" said one participant at SCoJeC's "Klezmatize" ceilidh in Maybole, "and the clarinet's human voice spoke of a culture both ancient and live." http://www.scojec.org/news/2013/13iv_klezmatize/maybole.html
In the course of SCoJeC's Scottish Government-funded "Being Jewish in Scotland" project, we met a number of Israelis who had settled in various parts of Scotland. Although they all felt at home here, several told us about difficulties they encounter because of local people's attitudes to Israel. http://www.scojec.org/news/2013/13iv_israelis_in_scotland/iis.html
