Caught in between” by Aimee Belchak: Aimee notes that even the contrasting style of his scarf and the flag point to the contradictions he must embrace. The cold sky behind him — at Auschwitz — emphasises the heat of his emotions and the sharp winter air.;“The wedding” by Daniel Swerdlow: The image is of my brother and sister-in-law at their wedding reception at the new St Pancras Grand hotel. It was one of the first weddings to be held at the reopened venue, and almost certainly the first Jewish one. ;East End” by Saskia Benjamin, 17, who studies photography A-Level at JFS 6th form. This photo of the old East-End synagogue sitting cheek by jowl with the brand-new mosque certainly illustrates the interesting challenges of 'Modern Jewish Britain.';“Drink Tea” by Elana Seaton, who said her picture was “shot in a student house. An upside-down Tehillim book and a wonky poster (about tea – very British!) having also been shot at with a BB gun, show that students are the future of modern Jewish Britain;
